Database Server Manager creates a separate account on your system when you run it on your system. DBSM might face issues while running if this account gets damaged, and you’ll face a direct impact of these issues when trying to switch to multi-user mode. You can resolve the issues by recreating the DBSM account to ensure QB doesn’t face problems opening the company file in multi-user mode. Use these steps -
Go to the Run window on your system with the help of the Windows + R keys.
Make sure the command field is blank and type ‘services.msc.’
Click Enter to open all the services list currently running on your PC.
Right-click the QuickBooksDBXX service according to your product version and tap Properties.
Click the This Account option under the Log On tab and ensure the Local System option isn’t selected.
After configuring the service, you must remove the ‘qbdataserviceuserXX’ account from your system. You don’t need to worry, as the account gets recreated the next time you launch QuickBooks DBSM and scan the company file on it. Use the following steps -
